The RMS Queen Mary is an ocean liner and museum vessel that moored at the Queensway Bay.

Besides the water, one of the best things to do in Long Beach is to check out the many local landmarks. All three of these local landmarks are within walking distance of each other and offer some great photo opportunities and fun activities. If you're looking for something more historical than that, then you can visit The Hidden Keys, a Cold War spy museum, or The Guggenheim Museum. (You can't visit Long Beach without visiting the Disney MGM Studios Museum, which is the oldest museum in Southern California.)

When it comes to beaches and local attractions, you have plenty of choices. There are tons of family beaches to check out, as well as parks, museums, and monuments all over the area. For those who enjoy the outdoors, you can take a hike on any of the many trails around Long Beach. In addition, you can spend a day taking nature walks, watching the wildlife, and maybe even strolling at one of the many beaches.

As with many Southern California towns, there are great shopping areas to be found in Long Beach. Shopping at the local malls can be a lot of fun, and there are also some fabulous second-hand shops that are perfect for secondhandship shoppers.
